Hi,
I've hired my 19 year-old daughter to help me this summer and she tells me that blogging is now an important part of the marketing mix. So here goes. Hopefully what I write about will be informative and entertaining.
Alot of people are asking me what's happening with the market -- is it going belly up? Are we headed for a bad turn? My take on it is a resounding NO! We are headed for or in the beginning of a "normal" market; one where, if homes are priced correctly and there is sufficient exposure to the marketplace, a home will sell within a reasonable time frame.
Homeowners really need to look at the market data that is furnished by a REALTOR when they go to list their home. I know that everyone has "the best home on the block", so do I! But you should know that when you list your home, it becomes a product in a market that currently has alot of inventory. If you can buy a can of peas for $0.75 or a can of peas for $0.67, which one will you buy? The same thing for homes.
What's your take? I'm interested in knowing.....talk to you soon! Rosemary |
